Wednesday 19th November - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – Rain then sunny periods, breezy and cold!

With a morning of rain with a keen, cold wind from the north even Mag didn’t go for her early morning walk today, in fact we really had a lazy start to the day which included breakfast in bed! Mag did head for her first walk at 11.30 by going up the town to get a few things while I did my exercises with the fan heater on! After lunch we did go out, long trousers and socks for me for the first time in many months!!!! The sun was out but it was cold as we walked up the town, past Harvest House and down onto the prom near the Fludyers. After a run of north winds the lovely swell continues with some cracking waves rolling in! We reached the pier and watching some large waves at the Manor end crashing into the rock groynes before returning home. I then had a quick drive down to a very cold Felixstowe dock view point to catch the sunset which was OK, the best bit was when the huge clouds along the seafront turned pink! The cold weather continues for several days with a slight chance of light snow tomorrow!
